Description

Rich and indulgent fudge squares that combine the traditional flavors of brigadeiro with wholesome oats.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chocolate sprinkles (for coating, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder until well combined.
  3. Add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt, stirring until the mixture thickens (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into a greased square pan and spread evenly. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares. If desired, roll the squares in chocolate sprinkles before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
