Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Beat the softened butter and sugar together until creamy and light in color.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Combine the heavy cream and chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until melted and smooth.
  10. Spread the chocolate filling between two cooled cookies to form a sandwich.
