Delicious pork chops smothered in a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides to enhance the flavor.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and brown them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they develop a nice golden crust. Once browned, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to loosen any browned bits. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the heavy cream, paprika, and thyme to the skillet. Stir everything together until well combined and smooth.
  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet, making sure they’re submerged in the sauce. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the pork is cooked through and tender.
  7. Before serving, garnish the dish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes or rice, and store leftovers in an airtight container.
