- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons blue raspberry flavored syrup
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with your hand and bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar with the blue raspberry syrup for icing and drizzle or spread it over cooled cookies.
- Add sprinkles if desired!
