- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all the ingredients.
- Whisk together the flour and baking soda, then set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until creamy.
- Add in the vanilla and eggs, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto ungreased baking sheets, placing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
