- 1/2 cup diced ham

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares or rectangles, depending on your preferred size.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper. If desired, add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft.
- Mix in the diced ham and cheese, stirring until the cheese melts slightly into the meat mixture.
- Place a tablespoon of the beef and cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up beautifully.
