Description

A comforting and hearty stew infused with paprika and tender beef, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the cubed beef to the pot and brown it on all sides.
  3. Once the beef is browned, add chopped onions and minced garlic.
  4. Sauté them until they become translucent.
  5. Stir in the chopped red bell peppers, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes, then add the bay leaf.
  7. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  8. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 90 to 120 minutes.
  9. Remove the bay leaf before serving hot, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate beef cubes in spices and beef broth before cooking.
