Description

A hearty and satisfying casserole that combines crispy tater tots, savory ground beef, and crumbled bacon for ultimate comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Combine the cooked beef mixture, crumbled bacon, ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles in a large bowl. Stir to mix.
  4. Layer half of the frozen tater tots in a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish, then spread the beef mixture over the tater tots, and top with half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Add the remaining tater tots on top and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, bake the tater tots a bit longer if you like them extra crispy.
