Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes Start by washing your potatoes thoroughly. You can peel them if you prefer, but leaving the skins on adds extra texture and nutrients. Dice the potatoes into uniform 1/2-inch cubes. Keeping the size consistent ensures that every piece cooks at the same rate.
  2. Step 2: Season the Potatoes Place the diced potatoes into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over the top. Toss everything together until every cube is evenly coated in oil and spices.
  3. Step 3: Preheat and Load the Air Fryer Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. Once ready, spread the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket. Try to keep them in a single layer as much as possible to allow the air to circulate properly around each piece.
  4. Step 4: Air Fry to Perfection Cook the potatoes at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes. About halfway through the cooking time, remove the basket and give it a good shake. This ensures all sides get crispy. Cook until they are golden brown and fork-tender on the inside.
  5. Step 5: Garnish and Serve Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley while they are still hot for a pop of color and freshness. Serve immediately while they are at their maximum crispiness.
