Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 cup sugar snap peas
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash all your vegetables thoroughly. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets, slice the bell peppers into even strips, and cut the carrots into thin rounds. Keeping the sizes uniform ensures that everything cooks at the same rate inside the air fryer basket.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved and the spices are well incorporated into the liquid.
  3. Place all the prepared vegetables into a large mixing bowl. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss them well with a spatula or your hands. Ensure every piece is evenly coated with the seasoning for maximum flavor.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the coated vegetables into the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, making sure to remove the basket and shake it halfway through. This helps the vegetables cook evenly and prevents any sticking.
  5. Once the vegetables are tender and slightly charred on the edges, remove them from the air fryer. Transfer the stir fry to a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds while still hot for a professional touch.
