- 2 slices of bread
- 1 egg
- 2 slices of cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). While your air fryer is warming up, butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the bread, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Crack an egg onto one slice of the bread and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Place a slice of cheese on top of the egg.
- Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes or until the egg is set and the bread is golden brown.
- Carefully remove the toast from the air fryer, let it cool slightly, slice it in half, and enjoy.
Notes
Optional toppings include fresh fruit, avocado, or salsa. Can be customized with various spices or additional ingredients.
