Description

Crispy and crunchy Air-Fried Spicy Chickpeas tossed with spices make a perfect healthy snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
  3. Place the seasoned chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. Remove the chickpeas once they are golden and crispy, and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crunch.
