A delightful treat combining creamy white chocolate with refreshing peppermint, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 3/4 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • 2 ounces melted white chocolate for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently. Fold in white chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  4. Scoop portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches between each. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired.
