- 1 package of flavored gelatin (Jello)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the flavored gelatin.
- Roll the dough into balls, coat in powdered sugar, and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are firm and centers are slightly soft. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
