Description

A flavorful pasta dish loaded with shrimp and aromatic garlic, perfect for seafood lovers.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a creamier sauce, add a splash of cream or a dollop of mascarpone cheese. Pair with garlic bread and a green salad.
