Ingredients

- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, add a splash of cream or a dollop of mascarpone cheese. Pair with garlic bread and a green salad.
