- 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 & 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
- 7 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped, regular stuffed, NOT DOUBLE STUFFED)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract.
- Add the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the M&M’s and chopped Oreo pieces. Scoop the dough into 10 evenly sized cookies.
- Place the cookie dough on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
