Description

Soft and chewy cookies packed with chocolate chips, perfect for sharing with loved ones this Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (or as desired)
  • Sprinkles or icing (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet, then decorate with sprinkles or icing before serving.

Notes

Ensure butter and eggs are at room temperature for better mixing. Chill the dough for thicker cookies.
