Description

A comforting, classic dish that combines tender noodles, savory tuna, and creamy goodness, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz wide egg noodles
  • 2 (5 oz) cans chunk light tuna in water, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot, add the egg noodles, and cook until al dente (6-8 minutes). Once cooked, drain and set the noodles aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, whole milk, frozen peas, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Gently fold in the cooked noodles into the tuna mixture until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead of time and frozen for future meals. Customize it with your favorite veggies or seasonings.
