- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 2 (5 oz) cans chunk light tuna in water, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot, add the egg noodles, and cook until al dente (6-8 minutes). Once cooked, drain and set the noodles aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, whole milk, frozen peas, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.
- Gently fold in the cooked noodles into the tuna mixture until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
This casserole can be made ahead of time and frozen for future meals. Customize it with your favorite veggies or seasonings.
