Description

A comforting and creamy casserole combining tender egg noodles, flaky tuna, and a blend of cheeses, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 can (12 ounces) tuna, drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions; drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, drained tuna, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, softened cream cheese, milk, and peas (if using). Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.

Notes

Feel free to add diced onions, bell peppers, or switch up the cheeses for additional flavors.
