Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 4 cups ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped basil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Layer the sliced tomatoes neatly in the baked pie crust and spread the mayonnaise mixture over the tomatoes.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
