A delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert transformed into a creamy dip, perfect for parties and gatherings.

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Ladyfinger cookies or graham crackers for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- In a shallow dish, mix the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
- Dip the ladyfinger cookies in the coffee mixture for a few seconds until soaked but not soggy. Layer the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a serving bowl.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the soaked cookies.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and cream cheese mixture.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving with extra cookies on the side.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using mascarpone cheese instead of cream cheese. Can be prepared a day in advance.
