Delicious and wholesome pecan pie bars made with almond and coconut flour for a guilt-free dessert.

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, melted coconut oil, 1/4 cup maple syrup, and salt for the crust. Press into the baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- In another bowl, mix chopped pecans, 3/4 cup maple syrup, coconut sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour the pecan filling over the baked crust and spread it evenly.
- Bake for another 25-30 minutes until the filling is set.
- Let the bars cool completely in the baking dish before slicing them into squares.
Notes
For an extra touch, top with flaked sea salt before serving.
