Description

Delicious sweet and savory meatballs slow cooked in a tangy sweet chili sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crockpot. In a separate bowl, mix the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil together. Pour this sauce over the meatballs in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
