Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the sugar substitute, applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool completely before serving.
