Description
A delightful dessert that combines sugar cookies and cheesecake, topped with a silky white chocolate ganache. Perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package sugar cookie dough
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set. Let it cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing until combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookie crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set. Let it cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- For the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering. Remove from heat and add the white chocolate and butter, stirring until melted and smooth. Pour the ganache over the chilled cheesecake and spread evenly. Chill until the ganache is set. Serve and enjoy!
