- 4 bell peppers
- 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or sausage)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cheese (optional, for topping)
- Olives or pepper slices (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a frying pan, cook the ground meat and chopped onion over medium heat until browned and the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until fully combined and heated through.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the meat and rice mixture, pressing down gently. Place in a baking dish, sprinkle cheese on top if desired, and bake for 25-30 minutes until tender.
- Decorate with olives or pepper slices to create spooky faces before serving.
