Instructions
- Combine the hulled and sliced strawberries with the granulated sugar in a mixing bowl and let them sit for about 15 minutes.
- Mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.
- Fold the macerated strawberries into the cream mixture, careful to keep the strawberry chunks intact.
- Stir in the crumbled pound cake or shortcake.
