Description

A delightful tart that combines sweet strawberries with creamy feta cheese and fresh thyme, perfect for brunch or a light dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lay the pre-made pie crust in a tart pan and pierce the bottom with a fork.
  2. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries, crumbled feta cheese, and fresh thyme leaves together.
  4. Drizzle the honey and balsamic vinegar over the strawberry mixture, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Combine gently.
  5. Once the crust has cooled to room temperature, fill it with the strawberry mixture. Serve warm or chilled.
