- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 loaf of day-old bread, cubed
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup toffee sauce, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish generously.
- Combine the mashed bananas, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Fold the cubed bread into the banana mixture until all pieces are soaked.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly.
- Drizzle warm toffee sauce over each serving and enjoy!
Notes
