  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and gochujang, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onion and serve warm.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, let the beef marinate in soy sauce and gochujang for about 30 minutes before cooking.
