Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Add sour cream to the mixture until light and airy. In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Using a cookie scoop, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  5. Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before frosting or decorating if desired.
