- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- Cinnamon-Sugar Topping: 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then stir in the melted butter. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping. Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle topping over it. Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a rack.
