  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Cinnamon-Sugar Topping: 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then stir in the melted butter. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping. Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle topping over it. Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a rack.
