Description

Tender beef patties immersed in a rich mushroom gravy, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion, and onion soup mix. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined and form into approximately four patties.
  2. Place the patties in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk beef broth and cream of mushroom soup until smooth.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the patties in the slow cooker, covering them evenly. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Once cooked, serve the Salisbury steak hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a satisfying meal. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
