Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion, and onion soup mix. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined and form into approximately four patties.
- Place the patties in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, whisk beef broth and cream of mushroom soup until smooth.
- Pour the soup mixture over the patties in the slow cooker, covering them evenly. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Once cooked, serve the Salisbury steak hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a satisfying meal. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
