Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna

Description

A delicious twist on traditional lasagna using layers of ravioli, marinara, and creamy cheeses, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Layer 3 lasagna noodles on the bottom of the slow cooker, then spread 1/3 of the frozen ravioli over the noodles. Pour 1 cup of marinara sauce over the ravioli, add half of the ricotta cheese, sprinkle one-third of the mozzarella cheese, and a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
  3. Repeat the layers twice more, finishing with the last layer of noodles and sauce on top.
  4. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until noodles are tender. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed vegetables and feel free to increase the amounts of cheeses if desired.
