- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp and bright green.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and drizzle with lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with rice or bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
