Ingredients

- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and roast them for about 10 minutes.
- In a food processor, combine the roasted almonds, pitted dates, oats, honey or maple syrup, salt, and vanilla extract.
- Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture into the dish evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour to set, then cut into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh and chewy. These squares can last up to two weeks in the refrigerator or up to three months in the freezer.
