Delightful cupcakes combining rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter, topped with chocolate frosting and mini Reese’s.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate frosting
- Mini Reese’s peanut butter cups for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the softened butter, eggs, milk, peanut butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before frosting with chocolate frosting.
- Top each cupcake with a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup.
Notes
For extra indulgence, consider adding a layer of peanut butter frosting in addition to the chocolate frosting.
