- 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a baking dish, combine the sliced peaches and half of the sugar. Spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, and optional cinnamon.
- Add milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter to dry ingredients. Stir until combined into a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter over the peaches in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
