- 1 lb Jumbo Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + lemon juice)
- 3/4 cup cornstarch (or potato/tapioca starch)
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp sriracha
Instructions
- Start by marinating the shrimp in buttermilk for 10 minutes.
- While the shrimp is marinating, mix the bang bang sauce.
- In another bowl, combine the cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Toss the crispy shrimp in the prepared bang bang sauce right before serving.
Notes
Serve immediately while hot and crispy. Pairs well with steamed rice or salad.
