  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, incorporating each fully. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  6. Take a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, and wrap it around a caramel candy, rolling it into a ball.
  7. Arrange cookie balls on a baking sheet, leaving space between them. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
