Description

A classic fall dessert featuring a creamy pumpkin filling spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg, all in a flaky pie crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 40-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the pie cool, then serve with whipped cream if desired.

Notes
