- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup pecans (chopped)
- Butter (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Grease a baking dish and arrange the bread slices in it, placing them close together.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and cover the dish. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the soaked bread and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
