Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pecans (chopped)
  • Butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Grease a baking dish and arrange the bread slices in it, placing them close together.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and cover the dish. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the soaked bread and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes
