Description
A delightful twist on traditional tacos that combines the bold flavors of a classic burger with fresh toppings, all wrapped in warm tortillas.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 4 flour tortillas
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 diced tomato
- 1/2 cup pickles
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/4 cup burger sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard)
Instructions
- Start by preheating a skillet over medium-high heat to ensure a great sear on your burgers.
- While the skillet heats, take the ground beef and form it into golf ball-sized balls. Season each ball generously with salt and pepper.
- Once the skillet is hot, place the meatballs onto it. Use a spatula to smash each ball down into a flat patty. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the burgers and immediately place slices of cheddar cheese on top. Allow the cheese to melt as the burgers cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In another pan or the microwave, warm your flour tortillas until soft and pliable.
- To assemble, lay a burger patty on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, and onions, then drizzle your burger sauce over everything.
- Serve these warm, delicious tacos immediately, ensuring everyone gets a taste of that fantastic flavor!
