Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls and coat in powdered sugar.
  7. Place on baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes until crackled and edges are set.
  8. Cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
