- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir in melted butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in vanilla.
- Fold in flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Then, fold in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are slightly soft. Let cool on sheets briefly before transferring to a wire rack.
