- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the peanut butter mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm with milk or ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
