- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 milk chocolate kisses
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Mix until creamy.
- In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and baking soda. Gradually add to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
- Press a chocolate kiss gently into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients. Don’t overbake; cookies should remain soft in the middle.
