- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, grated onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Spread ketchup on top for glaze. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the meatloaf cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use day-old breadcrumbs for better texture. Add Italian seasoning or a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor. A meat thermometer is handy for checking doneness.
