Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just mixed.
- For pancakes, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, pour about 1/4 cup of batter, cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- For waffles, preheat the waffle iron, pour the batter into the center, close the lid, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Serve warm topped with syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for the best results. Let the batter rest for fluffier pancakes.
