Description

Fluffy pancakes and waffles that are easy to make and perfect for breakfast or brunch. Customize with your favorite toppings!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional toppings: syrup, berries, whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just mixed.
  4. For pancakes, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, pour about 1/4 cup of batter, cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  5. For waffles, preheat the waffle iron, pour the batter into the center, close the lid, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  6. Serve warm topped with syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for the best results. Let the batter rest for fluffier pancakes.
