Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 Oreo cookies, chopped (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chopped Oreos.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle with additional Oreos and chocolate chips if using. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Let cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For best results, don’t overbake the brownies. They should come out with a few moist crumbs.
