- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 10 Oreo cookies, chopped (plus extra for topping)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chopped Oreos.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle with additional Oreos and chocolate chips if using. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
For best results, don’t overbake the brownies. They should come out with a few moist crumbs.
